Primark’s summer dress is a dupe of £75 designer version & it’s comfy, lightweight & super flattering for big busts

PRIMARK has launched a super flattering summer dress and it’s a dupe of an £89 designer buy.

With temperatures set to soar again this week, and with the school holidays just around the corner, many Brits are likely making plans for beach days and holidays abroad.

And what better way to get yourself excited for lounging in the sun, than by treating yourself to a new outfit.

Primark is one of the best-loved brands on the high street, and is constantly wowing us with its stylish but affordable fashion.

From cute dresses to on-trend work attire, the supermarket fast-fashion range always hits the mark, and its new summer collection is no exception.

One frock that has caught the attention of fashion fans is the Textured Button Midi Dress which shoppers can snap up for the bargain price of £18.

It comes in three stylish patterns, red and white stripes, black polka dots and plain white, with the lightweight material guaranteed to keep you cool on scorching hot days.

Shoppers can snap up the dress in store or via click and collect, with the gown available in sizes six to 22.

The v-neck design is super flattering for big busts, and the loose fitting material will ensure you feel comfortable all day long.

Primark said: “Cut a chic figure and get set for the compliments to come rolling in as you rock this elegant textured midi dress.

“The midi length is super sophisticated, meanwhile the lightweight fabric is perfect for staying cool on those warm weather days.

“The striped textured finish lends a stylish look and feel, while the button detailing to the front effortlessly elevates the look.”

The dress has caught the eyes of fashion fans, including Facebook user Rina May Descartin, who shared a video of the dresses in her local Primark, which has racked up a whopping 170,000 views.

£57 cheaper than designer frock

The Primark gown looks strikingly similar to Nobody’s Child‘s Starlight Midi Dress, but is a fraction of the price.

The designer frock has been slashed in price from £89 to £75, however, it is still £57 more expensive than the Primark dress.

The elegant gown comes in 10 different colours, including pink and brown stripes and a black check design, and features the same flattering v neck and puff sleeves as the Primark dress.

More bargain dresses

Sainsbury’s fans have recently been rushing to buy the NOISY MAY Short Sleeve Denim Dress Blue which has been slashed from £18 to £10.80, a saving of £7.20.

Why Primark is great for looking expensive on a budget

AS someone who’s no stranger to grabbing a last-minute outfit from Primark for a night out, it’s about time that celebrities started catching on too.

For as long as I’ve been heading out, Primark has been my go-to for those “I have nothing to wear” moments, rushing in at the last minute to find something perfect.

And I’m definitely not alone – on any Friday or Saturday night, you’ll find plenty of shoppers doing the same thing, right before closing time.

But no matter what, Primark always delivers.

Now, Rita Ora is leading the charge, showing that you can snag a designer-worthy look without spending a fortune at high-end stores.

While Rita’s not rushing in last minute for a red carpet outfit, she’s proving you can achieve the same high-impact style for much less.

Looking stunning in her tailored suit alongside her mum Vera, Rita fit right in among the other A-listers dripping in Prada, Dior, and Victoria Beckham – if anything, she looked even better than some of the guests at The Fashion Awards.

With Myleene Klass and Roxy Horner already jumping on the Primark bandwagon, I’m sure more stars will be following suit soon enough.

The dress comes in sizes 6 to 14, however it’s proven to be so popular, that it’s already sold out in some sizes.

You can find the frock in store and online, but you’ll have to be quick to avoid missing out.

Reviewing the dress, one fashion fan said: “Love this dress, going to be able to wear it anywhere.”

Another dress that has caught the eye of shoppers is the Tesco F&F Linen Rich Leaf Print V-Neck Mini Dress in Multi Black White.

The stylish frock comes in a loose-fitting design, which will help to keep you cool, and is cut to a flattering mini length.

It also covers your upper arms, to protect from sunburn and maximise comfort and would look perfect dress down with sandals for beach days or dressed up with wedges for garden parties or summer events.

The budget gown has been slashed from £25 to just £13, a saving of almost 50%.
